Tammy is a single mom with a 15-year-old son.

Her 75-year-old father also lives with them. She works long hours and struggles to find enough time for herself amid the demands of her job, raising a teenage boy and helping provide care for her father, who is unable to live alone. 

Tammy realizes that while the demands of her present situation are high, time with both her son and father is limited. 

Her employer recently changed an incentive program and now awards a one-time bonus of 50% of an employee’s salary when they reach their 20-year anniversary, which is coming up for Tammy. 

Combined with her savings, this new source of wealth has inspired Tammy to plan a 3-week trip to South America (where Tammy’s father was born) with her father and son before he graduates high school that will give them the experience of a lifetime.
